Privacy policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mila Beauty, operated by Scale OS LLC (“Mila Beauty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit mila-beauty.co, contact us, or place an order.
Current store stack
The store currently uses Shopify’s platform and checkout, Shopify Messaging, and a private administration app used to manage authorized store operations. No off-Shopify advertising pixel, analytics service, external email platform, or external reviews tool is currently active.
Personal information we collect
What we collect depends on how you use the store. It can include:
- contact and account information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and account details;
- order and transaction information, such as products purchased, order history, payment status, returns, refunds, and customer-support communications;
- payment information processed by our payment providers;
- device, network, and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookie data, pages viewed, and interactions with the store; and
- communication preferences and interactions with messages sent through the currently enabled Shopify services.
How we collect information
We collect information directly from you, automatically through the Shopify store and related technologies, and from Shopify and service providers needed to process payments, prevent fraud, fulfill and ship orders, and provide customer support.
How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- provide the store, process payments, fulfill and deliver orders, and manage returns or refunds;
- communicate about orders and respond to questions or requests;
- maintain accounts and customer preferences;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and illegal activity;
- operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the store and customer experience;
- send messages through Shopify Messaging where permitted and subject to available choices; and
- comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and property.
How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information to Shopify and to service providers needed for payment processing, hosting, fraud prevention, order fulfillment, shipping, and customer support. Shopify Messaging is used for enabled customer communications. A private custom administration app may process the information necessary to carry out authorized store-management operations. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
If the business is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information to provide and improve its platform and services. You can learn more in Shopify’s Privacy for Consumers information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Shopify and the store may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site and checkout functioning, remember preferences, understand platform and store performance, and prevent fraud. Browser controls and the privacy controls presented on the store can be used to manage available choices. Blocking some cookies can affect store functionality.
Before any off-Shopify advertising pixel, analytics service, external email platform, reviews tool, or other external tracking technology is activated, we must update this Privacy Policy and the store’s cookie disclosures to describe that tool and the choices available to customers.

You can unsubscribe from promotional messages by using the unsubscribe option provided in the message. Service and transactional messages, such as order updates, may still be sent when necessary. Where applicable law provides an opt-out from the sale or sharing of personal information or from targeted advertising, you can use the privacy controls presented on the store or contact us.
Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it is held.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use lawful measures intended to protect information transferred internationally.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a copy of certain information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; or opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising uses.
